BOYNEXTDOOR's Sungho is set to present a fresh take on a beloved Japanese film soundtrack.

On February 20, production company MOST CONTENTS announced that Sungho will release a remake single to commemorate the Korean theatrical release of 5 Centimeters per Second.

A Timeless Love Story Revisited

5 Centimeters per Second is the live-action adaptation of the acclaimed animation directed by Makoto Shinkai. The story portrays enduring love and longing that persist despite the passage of time.

For the special collaboration, Sungho will reinterpret "One more time, One more chance," originally composed and performed by Masayoshi Yamazaki. The track is widely recognized as the signature OST of the franchise.

A Warm Vocal Reimagining

According to officials, Sungho preserves the original's tender and lyrical atmosphere while adding his own warm tone and delicate vocal expression, aiming to deliver a renewed emotional resonance.

Sungho's version of "One more time, One more chance" will be released on February 25 at 6 PM KST across major music platforms.
