Ha Jungwoo transforms into a cornered landlord in tvN's upcoming weekend drama How to Become a Building Owner in Korea.
On February 20, tvN unveiled a 38-second teaser for the new Saturday-Sunday series (written by Oh Han-ki, directed by Lim Pil-sung), also known as Building Owner.
A Desperate Plea and a Dangerous Offer
The teaser captures Ki Sujong (played by Ha Jungwoo) in a moment of desperation, pleading, "Just let me pay off the debt on my building." His bank account balance sits in the negative, underscoring the severity of his financial crisis.
Amid the turmoil, his friend Min Hwalseong (Kim Junhan) presents what appears to be a final lifeline, urging him, "How long are you going to live being looked down on?" The proposal leads Ki Sujong into a risky alliance.
"Once Redevelopment Is Confirmed, It's Game Over"
Determined to protect his property at all costs, Ki Sujong embarks on a high-stakes operation to defend his building. Convinced that confirmed redevelopment would mean "game over," he becomes entangled in a staged kidnapping scheme.
Production staff stated that the storyline will unfold with survival-thriller intensity, keeping viewers on edge as Ki Sujong fights to safeguard both his family and his building.
How to Become a Building Owner in Korea premieres on March 14.
