Actor Jung Ilwoo has stepped into the role of film investor.

According to the distributor, Jung Ilwoo decided to invest in Sentimental Value, directed by Joachim Trier, supporting its domestic release. His name is officially included in the film's credits. This marks his second investment project following Together (2025).

A Story About Cinema and Family

An industry representative noted that the film tells the story of a father and daughter, both connected through the profession of filmmaking, and that Jung Ilwoo's participation as an investor carries particular significance.

Sentimental Value centers on a film director father and his two daughters. Through the making of a film, they confront past wounds and rediscover each other.

Acclaimed on the Global Stage

The film has received strong critical recognition. It won the Grand Prix at the 78th Cannes Film Festival and secured nine nominations at the 98th Academy Awards.

Sentimental Value opened in theaters on February 18.
