Actor Jo Bok-rae has postponed the wedding ceremony he had planned to hold five years after registering his marriage.
On February 21, a representative from BH Entertainment confirmed that the ceremony scheduled for that day could not proceed due to personal circumstances and matters concerning both families.
Jo Bok-rae had originally planned to hold the ceremony at a private location in Seoul. The agency added that discussions regarding the wedding ceremony will resume at a later time.
Jo Bok-rae registered his marriage with his partner in 2021. He had delayed the formal ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic and childbirth. The couple welcomed a son in 2023 and a daughter in 2025.
Meanwhile, Jo Bok-rae is set to appear in the upcoming film Apartment: Ripley's World, directed by Chae Soo-eung, which is slated for release in the first half of this year. The project was invited to the Immersive Competition section at the 81st Venice International Film Festival. He takes on the role of Dr. Kim Nam-jun.
