Lee Jong Suk and Lee Jun Hyuk are set to headline live-action adaptations of two popular web novels.
On February 23, Ace Factory announced that Lee Jong Suk will star in "Lee Seop's Love," while Lee Jun Hyuk will lead "The Calm Lie," both based on works by author Kim Eon Hee. The two stories share the same universe but follow different protagonists.
Office Romance Meets Heir Rivalry
"Lee Seop's Love" centers on Tae Iseop, a third-generation chaebol heir who appears flawless in every way but struggles when it comes to relationships. Lee Jong Suk takes on the lead role, portraying a romance between Tae Iseop and his secretary.
Lee Jun Hyuk will headline "The Calm Lie" as Tae Junseop, the grandson of TK Group and cousin to Tae Iseop. His character becomes entangled in a fierce succession battle within the conglomerate.
A representative shared that the two actors are expected to deliver both an office romance and a tense bromance, as their characters clash over inheritance and corporate power.
"Lee Seop's Love" and "The Calm Lie" are scheduled for simultaneous production within the year. Release platforms and premiere dates have yet to be announced.
