TWICE has once again proven its strong foothold in the North American market with a high-profile U.S. television appearance.
On February 24, TWICE appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, marking their third visit following appearances in 2021 and 2023. It was their first return to the show in nearly three years, reconnecting with local viewers at the height of their global momentum.
Fueled by KPop Demon Hunters Craze
The invitation came amid the global buzz surrounding Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters. Riding the wave of the film's explosive popularity, TWICE received another love call from the show, underscoring their sustained influence in the U.S. market.
During the broadcast, the group delivered a commanding performance of "Strategy." With hip styling and powerful stage energy, TWICE filled the studio with charisma, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the live audience.
A Billboard Hit Extending Tour Momentum
"Strategy," featured on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, has become a mega-hit. The track remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for 17 consecutive weeks and surpassed 300 million cumulative streams on Spotify on the day of the show's airing.
The song's success has translated directly into tour momentum. TWICE is currently in the midst of its largest-ever world tour, THIS IS FOR, which kicked off in Vancouver in January and continues across North America.
The group is also performing another KPop Demon Hunters OST track, "Take Down," further captivating local fans. The North American leg will run through April, spanning 20 cities and 35 shows.
