Singer-producer BUMZU has once again lifted a grand prize trophy, marking his third consecutive win at the KOMCA Copyright Awards.
The Korea Music Copyright Association announced on February 26 that BUMZU claimed the Grand Prize in the Popular Lyrics and Composition category at this year’s KOMCA Copyright Awards. The ceremony is the only copyright-focused awards event in Korea, recognizing creators who have significantly contributed to the growth of the music industry.
A Three-Year Streak of Creative Dominance
Following wins in 2024 and 2025, BUMZU secured his third straight grand prize, once again proving his exceptional creative power. Notably, he was honored in both popular lyrics and composition, underscoring his dual strength as a songwriter and producer.
Approximately 350 of his songs are officially registered with the association. Among his representative works are SEVENTEEN’s “Super,” “VERY NICE,” and “MAESTRO,” tracks that have played key roles in shaping the group’s signature sound and global presence.
A Proven Hitmaker
BUMZU made his debut in 2011 with the single “Oh My Girl.” He is currently active as a main producer under PLEDIS Entertainment, continuing to expand his influence across the K-pop industry.
