CORTIS is launching a unique collaboration with a major Korean software company ahead of their comeback.
According to BIGHIT MUSIC, lyrics from CORTIS' new track will be unveiled for the first time through Hangul & Computer's "Hancom Taja" typing program. The song will be featured in the game's "Acid Rain" mode as well as its online transcription content.
A Throwback Platform for a New-Gen Release
The track, titled "YOUNGCREATORCREW," is a B-side from the group's upcoming release. Instead of a traditional teaser rollout, CORTIS chose the nostalgic Hancom Taja platform to reveal the lyrics before the official drop.
The collaboration is expected to deliver a fresh experience for CORE (the fandom name). For Gen Z and Alpha audiences, it introduces a retro-style typing game in a new context, while older generations may revisit childhood memories through the iconic software.
Beyond the lyric reveal, additional collaborative content with Hancom Taja is scheduled for release next month.
Identity, Ambition, and Self-Definition
"YOUNGCREATORCREW" is a track centered on CORTIS' identity. While branded as a "young creator crew," the song expresses the paradoxical desire to avoid being confined to a single label.
As with their previous work, the members participated in the songwriting process. The track conveys a message of forging one's own path, articulated in CORTIS' distinct style.
Meanwhile, CORTIS' debut album Color Outside the Line is approaching double million-seller status, having surpassed 1.92 million copies in cumulative sales.
