Kangmin of VERIVERY is stepping into his first leading role.

The singer-actor stars in the drama Jump Boy LIVE, which premieres on February 27 via the global K-pop short-form platform Kits. Kangmin takes on the role of Lee On, the story's central character.

He shared his thoughts ahead of the release, saying he was drawn to the freshness of a character who suddenly gains teleportation abilities. He expressed hope that the series would deliver refreshing and uplifting energy to viewers.

From Outsider to Live Hero

Newly released still cuts preview Lee On's adventurous journey, along with moments from his peaceful daily life with his only friend, Tesla (played by Kim Jun-hyun).

The storyline raises intrigue as Lee On, once the lowest-ranked outsider at a science high school, undergoes a dramatic transformation after acquiring teleportation powers. A scene showing him pointing a gun at someone further heightens tension.

Jump Boy LIVE follows a struggling science high school student who unexpectedly gains teleportation abilities and becomes a live-stream hero, blending youth, fantasy, and action elements.
