Kim Hye-yoon and Lee Jong-won are set to confront terror in the upcoming horror film Salmokji.
On March 3, the production team of Salmokji (directed by Lee Sang-min) unveiled new stills capturing tense moments as Su-in (Kim Hye-yoon) and a filming crew head toward the ominous reservoir known as Salmokji.
Ominous Signs at the Reservoir
The images hint at an unsettling atmosphere. A suspicious figure appears in a road-view recording filmed by Kyung-tae (Kim Young-sung), prompting the crew to revisit the reservoir for reshooting.
Meanwhile, senior crew member Gyo-sik (Kim Jun-han), who had previously gone missing, suddenly reappears at Salmokji. His distorted demeanor raises alarm among the team.
Su-in freezes after receiving a mysterious phone call. Kyung-jun (Oh Dong-min) and Sung-bin (Yoon Jae-chan) stand stunned, gripping flashlights in the darkness. Se-jeong (Jang Da-a) is overcome with fear as a motion detector designed to sense spirits reacts unexpectedly.
Gi-tae (Lee Jong-won) uncovers a hidden secret tied to Salmokji while visiting an elderly woman's home.
Trapped in an Endless Loop
As the crew attempts to escape the reservoir, they find themselves circling back to the same spot repeatedly, as if possessed by an unseen force drawing them toward the water. Ultimately, they collapse in shock, staring at something beyond the frame.
Salmokji follows a filming crew that returns to a reservoir to verify a mysterious figure captured on road-view footage, only to confront something lurking beneath the surface.
The film is scheduled to premiere on April 8.
