R&D Company, the agency representing Daesung of BIGBANG, is accelerating its business expansion through a new strategic partnership.

On March 5, CEO Choi Seung-yong announced that the company had secured strategic investment from Dreamus Company, a music IP business firm.

Building a Full Music IP Value Chain

Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to establish a full-value-chain ecosystem for music intellectual property. R&D Company's artist management capabilities will combine with Dreamus Company's strengths in music distribution and IP services to generate synergy.

Founded in 2021, R&D Company specializes in artist production and management. Its roster includes artists such as Daesung, Lisa, Kisum, and Nam Yoo-jung.

D-LABLE Leads Global Projects

The company also operates a dedicated label, D-LABLE, focused specifically on Daesung's activities. Under this label, R&D Company is developing global projects spanning music releases, live performances, and merchandise.

In addition, the company partners with other agencies to support artist activities. Musicians such as Baekho, KyoungSeo, Liberante, and LNGSHOT have benefited from these services.

R&D Company stated that its long-term vision is to build an ecosystem where artists can continue making music and engaging with fans even into their 50s and 60s.

Dreamus Company also emphasized that the partnership goes beyond a simple equity investment. The collaboration aims to create a sustainable model that continuously expands the value of artists' intellectual property while allowing both companies to grow together.
