Choi Lipwoo and Kang Woojin, known from the survival show Boys Planet 2, are officially debuting as a two-member duo.

FNC Entertainment announced on March 10 that the two artists decided to debut together after extensive discussions. The agency added that they will return with high-quality music and performances to meet the expectations of fans who have continuously supported them.

"Boys Planet 2" Friendship Leads to Official Duo

Choi Lipwoo and Kang Woojin first gained attention through Mnet's Boys Planet 2, which concluded in September last year.

Both contestants became popular for their refreshing visuals and steadily improving skills throughout the competition. Their growth during the show earned them strong support from viewers and fans.

Even after the program ended, the two maintained their close connection through joint activities. They were frequently seen attending and supporting each other's fan meetings.

Preparing for Official Debut in May

Recently, Choi Lipwoo and Kang Woojin were selected together as the DJs of the month for MBC FM4U's Best Friend Broadcasting Club. Throughout March, they have been communicating with listeners through the program.

The duo is currently accelerating preparations with the goal of officially debuting in May. The team name and detailed activity plans will be revealed at a later date.
