Heeseung has officially announced his departure from ENHYPEN to pursue an independent path as a solo artist.

BELIFT LAB confirmed the news on March 10, stating that Heeseung will step away from the group while ENHYPEN will continue its activities as a six-member team starting from their upcoming official schedules.

Decision Reached After Long Discussions

The decision followed extensive discussions among the members and the agency regarding the future direction of the team.

According to the company, there were no conflicts between the members. Instead, the conversations revealed that Heeseung has a clear musical vision he wishes to pursue individually.

BELIFT LAB explained that the agency chose to respect his artistic goals. Heeseung will remain with the label and is currently preparing to release a solo album.

Message to Fans

The agency also asked fans for understanding regarding the change.

"We understand that this news may be difficult for many fans to accept," the statement said. "We hope you will support both ENHYPEN and Heeseung as they move forward on their respective paths."

Heeseung also shared a handwritten letter with fans, reflecting on his time with the group.

"The six years I've spent here have been filled with precious moments that are difficult to express in words," he wrote.

He added that he has long been working on personal music projects and, after careful consideration, decided to follow the direction suggested by the company.

Heeseung also promised to meet ENGENE — ENHYPEN's fandom — again soon, expressing his desire to return with an even better side of himself.
