Actor Kim Nam-gil will support Ha Jung-woo's return to television with a special appearance in tvN's upcoming drama How to Become a Landlord in Korea.
The cameo was made possible through Kim Nam-gil and Ha Jung-woo's long-standing friendship. His role goes beyond a simple supporting appearance, as he plays a key character crucial to the early development of the story.
A Detective Helping His Brother-in-Law
Kim Nam-gil takes on the role of Kim Kyun, a violent crimes detective and the brother-in-law of Ki Su-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo). He becomes involved in helping his brother-in-law, who is on the verge of losing his building.
Newly released still images capture moments of Ki Su-jong sharing his concerns with Kim Kyun, while another scene shows the detective seriously investigating a case.
The production team stated that Kim Nam-gil will deliver a strong presence from the very first episode, adding that they are grateful for the actor's passionate performance that goes beyond a typical special appearance.
Meanwhile, How to Become a Landlord in Korea tells the story of an ordinary landlord who joins a fake kidnapping scheme in order to protect his family and his building. The drama premieres on March 14.
