SHINee's Taemin has found a new home. The K-pop star has officially signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation.
Galaxy Corporation announced the news on March 11. The company stated that Taemin has joined the agency and will begin a new chapter of his career under its management.
The agency promised full support for the artist. It explained that Taemin's artistic capabilities will be combined with the company's advanced technology to create strong synergy.
Taemin debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee. The group released numerous hit songs, including "Replay," "Ring Ding Dong," and "View," establishing themselves as a major force in K-pop.
He also built a strong reputation as a solo artist. Starting with his first mini-album ACE in 2014, Taemin has consistently showcased diverse musical styles and performance concepts.
His solo world tour was also a success. The tour began at Inspire Arena in Incheon in 2024 and continued across 20 countries, including stops in North America and Europe.
Taemin is set to make another milestone soon. He will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 11 and April 18. He will become the first K-pop male solo artist to take the stage at the festival.
Galaxy Corporation is an entertainment technology company. Its roster includes G‑Dragon, Kim Jong‑kook, and Song Kang‑ho.
