Members of SEVENTEEN—Vernon and The8—are joining forces for a new unit project.

Pledis Entertainment confirmed on March 12 that the two artists are currently preparing a unit album, targeting a release in June.

This will mark the sixth official SEVENTEEN unit. Previous unit combinations include BSS, Jeonghan & Wonwoo, Hoshi & Woozi, S.Coups & Mingyu, and DK & Seungkwan.

Previous Collaboration

Vernon and The8 previously collaborated in 2024. Vernon featured on The8's first Chinese EP "STARDUST."

He contributed a rap performance to the chorus of the opening track "54321 (Lift Off)." Vernon also took part in writing and composing the title track "Orbit (道)."

The8 further demonstrated his musical ability by participating in the lyrics for the track.

Continuing World Tour

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is currently on its world tour "NEW_." The group will continue the tour with concerts at Bangkok National Stadium on March 14 and 15.
