Sol Kyung-gu will challenge the occult genre for the first time since his debut.

Acemaker Movieworks announced on March 12 that the film "The Rock" (directed by Lee Deok-chan) has confirmed its cast, including Sol Kyung-gu, Jeon Jong-seo, and Seo Eun-soo.

Occult Mystery About a Mysterious Rock

"The Rock" is an occult mystery that follows the story of a supernatural rock rumored to grant any wish when prayed to. As the characters begin to investigate the secret behind the rock, hidden truths gradually emerge.

The film also brings together producers from the hit occult movie Exhuma, raising anticipation among film fans.

Sol Kyung-gu's Bold Transformation

In the film, Sol Kyung-gu plays Eul-seok, a shaman hiding a dangerous secret. The role is expected to showcase a dramatic transformation unlike anything seen in his previous filmography.

Jeon Jong-seo will portray Hee-jin, a woman who begins investigating a mystery that starts consuming her family after the death of her younger sibling. Her character forms a tense conflict with Eul-seok.

Seo Eun-soo takes on the role of Hee-nam, Hee-jin's sibling, who shares doubts about the circumstances surrounding the death.

The three actors recently participated in a script reading session. According to the production team, their chemistry was so strong that it felt like an actual filming set.

Meanwhile, "The Rock" officially began filming on March 12.
