ITZY is set to return to the music show stage after their track "THAT'S A NO NO" gained renewed attention online.
According to JYP Entertainment on March 13, ITZY will appear on M Countdown on March 19 to perform the song.
Performance From World Tour Sparks Viral Buzz
"THAT'S A NO NO" is a B-side track from ITZY's second mini album IT'z ME. The song recently resurfaced in popularity after the group performed it during their third world tour "Tunnel Vision."
A full-cam performance video uploaded to the group's official YouTube channel quickly spread online. On March 8, the clip ranked No. 1 on YouTube Korea's daily trending music video chart. As of March 13, it has surpassed 3.81 million views.
Dance Challenge Expands Across K-Pop
The track's momentum has also fueled a dance challenge trend. Several K-pop artists joined in, including **TWICE members Momo and Jihyo, as well as NEXZ member Tomoya and members of KickFlip.
The song is also climbing streaming charts again. It re-entered the Melon Daily Chart at No. 961 on March 2 and steadily rose to No. 191 by March 11.
Ahead of the broadcast performance, ITZY will release a choreography practice video for "THAT'S A NO NO" on their official social media channels on March 14 at 6 p.m., building anticipation for the upcoming stage.
