Actress Lee Hwa‑gyeom (birth name Lee Yoo-young, 31) is set to become a March bride.

On March 13, Lee shared the news of her marriage through social media. "I'd like to share some personal news with those who have supported me," she wrote. "At the end of this month, I will be making a promise to begin a new chapter of my life."

She described her fiancé as "someone who is sometimes like a comfortable friend and, on difficult days, like a large umbrella providing shelter." Lee added that she plans to walk through life together with him.

The actress also expressed gratitude to fans. "I sincerely thank everyone who has consistently supported and encouraged me," she said. "I will continue to work hard to show better performances as an actress."

From Idol to Actress

Lee Hwa-gyeom first debuted in May 2012 as a member of Hello Venus under her birth name Yoo-young. During her time with the group, she participated in releases such as the songs "Would You Stay for Tea?", "What Are You Doing Today?", and "Venus."

Alongside her idol career, she also pursued acting, appearing in dramas including Take Care of Us, Captain, Wonderful Mama, and Mother's Garden. After transitioning fully into acting, she adopted the stage name Lee Hwa-gyeom.

Most recently, she appeared in the drama Salon de Holmes. Her next project has yet to be announced.
