Ahn Hyo-seop stepped onto the red carpet at the 98th Academy Awards in Los Angeles.

The actor attended the ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 16 (Korea time). It marked his first appearance at the Oscars.

His invitation came after the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters earned nominations in two categories.

Ahn Hyo-seop appeared on the red carpet wearing a classic black tuxedo. UK outlet MTV reported, "Jinwoo has stepped onto the Oscars red carpet."

Netflix also shared photos from the event the same day, writing, "Jinwoo fans, rise. Ahn Hyo-seop has arrived at Oscars 2026."

KPop Demon Hunters tells the story of a girl group of demon hunters who battle an evil boy group to save the world. Ahn Hyo-seop voices the character Jinwoo.

The film went on to win Best Animated Feature at this year's Academy Awards. Its OST track "Golden" was also nominated for Best Original Song.

Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo-seop will appear in the upcoming SBS drama Sold Out Again Today, which is set to premiere next month.
