by. ymchoi

BTS is taking their comeback stage from Seoul to New York.

According to Forbes, BTS will meet North American fans for the first time in about four years, holding a solo comeback performance in New York on March 23—three days after the release of their new album.

First U.S. Group Performance in Four Years

This marks BTS's first full-group performance in the United States since their 2022 Permission to Dance On Stage concerts in Las Vegas.

The upcoming show will be held in collaboration with Spotify under the title Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE. The exact venue has yet to be announced.

Spotify plans to invite 1,000 selected listeners to attend the event, offering not only a live performance but also an immersive experience themed around BTS's new album ARIRANG.

Global Campaign and Fan Experiences

Beyond the New York concert, Spotify will roll out a large-scale SWIMSIDE campaign. This includes interactive music quizzes within the Spotify app, as well as a special "SWIMSIDE Cruise" event designed for fans in Korea.

BTS will officially return on March 20 with their new album ARIRANG, featuring a total of 14 tracks including the title song SWIM, alongside Aliens and Hooligan.

The album boasts an impressive lineup of global producers, including Ryan Tedder, Diplo, Mike WiLL Made-It, Flume, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, and Teezo Touchdown.

Meanwhile, BTS will also hold a free comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21, the day after the album release.
