Choi Lip-woo is expanding his global reach with a new release targeting Japanese fans.
On March 18, Choi Lip-woo unveiled his first Japan special edition album SWEET DREAM ~Japan Special Edition~, marking his official debut release for the Japanese market.
A Special Edition with New Tracks
The album builds on his previously released single SWEET DREAM, first introduced in Korea in December. This edition includes an original Japanese track, "Flower Pot," adding fresh appeal for local listeners.
SWEET DREAM captures a boy's emotional journey through "sweet" and "dream"-like moments, expressing memories of warmth and the pursuit of his aspirations through music.
Proven Momentum and Expanding Activities
Choi Lip-woo previously achieved strong results on major music charts and earned three awards at The Awards, his first ceremony appearance following debut.
The new track "Flower Pot" is an acoustic pop ballad featuring warm guitar and soft piano sounds, highlighting his delicate vocal tone. The lyrics portray a journey of healing—finding one's place after loneliness through kindness and emotional warmth.
Choi Lip-woo is set to continue meeting fans through upcoming events, including domestic fan meetings on March 21–22, a Taipei encore fan meeting on April 4, and 2026 Choi Lip-woo Fan Meeting 'Drawing U' in Japan on March 27.
Additionally, he is preparing for a two-member unit debut with Kang Woo-jin, whom he met through Boys 2 Planet, targeting a May debut.
