Park Jinyoung is set to return as a singer this May with a brand-new album.

On March 19, BH Entertainment confirmed that Park Jinyoung is currently focusing on his upcoming release while preparing for his comeback. The exact release date will be announced at a later time.

He is simultaneously working on drama filming and music production. Notably, Park Jinyoung will participate directly in writing the lyrics for the new album, while also showcasing his signature emotional vocal tone.

Previously, he released the single "DIVE" in 2021, followed by his first solo EP "Chapter 0: WITH" in 2023. In December last year, he delivered a seasonal track titled "Christmas Fever," capturing winter sentiments.

Alongside his music career, Park Jinyoung continues his acting activities. He is currently appearing in JTBC's Friday series "Shining," a youth romance drama that ranked No. 7 on Netflix's Global Top 10 (Non-English Shows) shortly after release. The series airs every Friday at 8:50 PM (KST) with back-to-back episodes.

In the second half of this year, he is also set to star in tvN's "100 Days of Lies," where he will portray an elite interpreter involved in an undercover operation within the Japanese Government-General of Korea.
