CRAVITY is expanding its presence in Japan with a bold new musical direction.
On March 18, the group released their third Japanese single "BLAST OUT," marking their first original Japanese project to embrace a darker concept. The release signals a notable shift in style, showcasing a more intense and mature side of the group.
The single includes six tracks, featuring the title song "BLAST OUT," along with "Koijanai?," "Paradox," and intro versions of each track. The title track captures the explosive release of inner emotions, combining powerful rap delivery with a high-energy beat.
The music video, unveiled on the same day, presents the members as targets in a tense narrative. Using the metaphor of a ticking time bomb, the video builds suspense through a dramatic countdown sequence.
According to their agency, the members participated in writing and composing the album, highlighting an expanded musical spectrum and a fresh concept approach.
CRAVITY officially debuted in Japan in July 2023 with their single "Groovy," which topped Tower Records Japan's weekly overall singles chart. Since then, they have continued steady activities with releases such as their first EP "Dilly Dally," second single "SHOW OFF," and second EP "Jelly Bean."
Meanwhile, CRAVITY will hold a solo concert in Japan on May 15–16 at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall.
