Actress Go Youn-jung has stepped forward to support active-duty firefighters.

On March 20, she donated 50 million KRW to the Firefighter Family Hope Sharing organization. The funds will be used for equipment support and PTSD prevention programs for firefighters.

Go Youn-jung made the decision after experiencing the field firsthand during filming for MBC-TV's Manitto Club. She carried out a "Secret Manitto" mission to set up a cafeteria for firefighters.

She visited a fire station and directly observed the working environment and workflow of on-site personnel. Her agency stated, "She recognized the need for support and made the donation based on the sense of responsibility and gratitude she felt from the firefighters."

Meanwhile, Go Youn-jung will star as film producer Byun Eun-a in JTBC's upcoming weekend drama Everyone Is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness (written by Park Hae-young, directed by Cha Young-hoon), premiering on April 18 at 10:40 PM.
