BLACKPINK's Jennie has once again proven her global music power with a new U.S. certification milestone.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) updated its "Gold & Platinum" list on March 20 (KST), revealing additional certified releases. The RIAA awards Gold (500,000 units), Platinum (1 million units), Multi-Platinum (2 million units), and Diamond (10 million units) based on cumulative sales and streams.
Jennie earned a Platinum certification for "like JENNIE," the title track from her first full-length solo album Ruby. The achievement comes seven months after the track was first certified Gold.
Second Platinum Milestone
This marks Jennie's second Platinum-certified track. She previously reached the milestone with "One Of The Girls," further solidifying her solo presence in the global market.
Consistent Chart Performance
Jennie also holds two Gold certifications. Pre-release track "ExtraL" and album track "Mantra" from Ruby each surpassed 500,000 units, reflecting steady international demand.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently continued their world tour "DEADLINE" with a performance in Hong Kong, maintaining strong momentum on the global stage.
