NOWZ Expands into Japan with First Variety Show for Debut Special

NOWZ is accelerating its entry into Japan. The group will appear on its first Japanese variety show following debut.

NOWZ will star in a solo variety program set to stream on Japan's ABEMA on March 28 and April 4. The show is a special broadcast celebrating their official Japanese debut.

The program, titled "Congratulations! 5th-Generation Rookie NOWZ's Charm Fully Analyzed," will be hosted by Hallyu-specialist radio DJ Masayuki Furuya.

Spotlighting NOWZ's Unique Appeal

Through various segments, NOWZ aims to make a strong impression on local viewers. The group will introduce their first EP "NOWZ" in Japanese and take on multiple challenges showcasing their personality and performance skills.

NOWZ officially debuted in Japan on March 4. Alongside their original Japanese track "AMMO," they also released Japanese versions of songs from their existing albums.

Performance Buzz and Expanding Activities

The choreography for "AMMO" has drawn particular attention. Monika of dance crew PROWDMON participated as choreographer, elevating NOWZ's high-impact performance.

Since their debut, the group has actively promoted in Japan. They appeared at the "42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 S/S" and performed at halftime for Japan's professional basketball team Kobe Storks.

NOWZ continues its activities in Korea as well. The group will hold a fan concert "Run with me, NOW" on March 28 at Myunghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
