Actor Kim Nam-gil is officially launching his music career under the stage name CoolTone.

His agency, Gilstory ENT, announced that Kim Nam-gil (CoolTone) will release his first single "On My Way to You" on March 26 through major streaming platforms.

Rock Sound Meets Emotional Confession

"On My Way to You" is a rock track featuring a powerful yet refreshing sound. The song captures a man's heartfelt confession as he runs toward the one he loves.

The single is produced by Rocoberry, the hit-making singer-songwriter duo behind major tracks such as Ailee's "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow."

Expanding into Full-Scale Music Activities

Kim Nam-gil plans to continue his music journey starting with this release. His team stated that he will present a series of rock-based songs moving forward.

He has previously showcased his vocal abilities through musicals and fan meeting tours. In 2010, he released the single "Can't I Love You," and in 2013, he sang "You Don't Know" for the drama Yawang OST. He also gifted Japanese fans with the single "Roman."

Meanwhile, Kim Nam-gil will hold his fan meeting G.I.L on March 28 at KBS Arena in Gangseo, Seoul, where he will perform "On My Way to You" for the first time.
