ALPHA DRIVE ONE unveiled a striking new side of their artistry, capturing both youthful innocence and dynamic energy in a special pictorial.
The group was featured in Issue No.33 of DICON, where all eight members portrayed contrasting facets of youth—from carefree romance to intense passion—through a day-in-the-life concept filmed in February.
Two Concepts, One Youth
The special edition is released in two distinct versions. Photographer Yoon Song-yi focused on "youth," while Bang Gyu-hyung captured the "boyhood" concept. Film direction was led by Kim Ye-jin.
Version A, titled DRIVE the Youth, highlights ALPHA DRIVE ONE's raw and romantic momentum. Set against a warm spring backdrop, it emphasizes unfiltered emotions, radiant visuals, and the members' natural energy.
The A version includes four types of special items: photo cards, acrylic keyrings, profile cards, and a 16-cut photo set. Notably, the profile cards are designed as athletic club application forms, adding a playful concept twist.
A Softer, Intimate Mood
Version B, titled Hearts Grow One, presents a contrasting tone. It captures the members in vulnerable, just-awakened moments, revealing a softer and more intimate side.
At the same time, subtle hints of maturity are layered into the visuals, offering a calm yet emotionally rich atmosphere distinct from Version A.
The B version package includes photo cards, a photo card case keyring, monthly cards, and a balance game file. The monthly cards feature personal messages and small wishes dedicated to their fandom.
A Deeper Look Into the Members
Issue No.33 documents ALPHA DRIVE ONE's daily lives in depth, combining the members' inner thoughts with observations from staff.
A standout segment includes a "50 TMI Questions" feature, offering personal insights—from small habits and dorm rules to heartfelt messages for fans.
"One day, I saw a slogan with my name on it and thought, 'Someone likes me.' From that moment, I promised myself to do my best. I want to become someone they can be proud of," said member Xinlong.
Pre-orders for the ALPHA DRIVE ONE edition of DICON begin on March 26 at 2 PM KST, with sales open through April 5 at 11:59 PM KST across multiple platforms including Weverse Shop and major online retailers.
