JYP Entertainment is launching a new global audition project to discover the next generation of K-pop boy group talent, following the success of Stray Kids and KickFlip.

"The Hit" Signals Ambition for Global Impact

On March 26, JYP opened its official audition website, announcing 2026 JYP Boy Group Global Audition: The Hit. The audition title combines the meanings of "HEAT" and "HIT," reflecting the company's ambition to cultivate artists who can thrive on the global stage.

Eight Cities, Worldwide Talent Search

The audition tour will span eight major cities—Osaka, New York, Bangkok, California, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, and Seoul—targeting applicants born between 2008 and 2016.

Online applications are open and must be submitted up to three days before each regional audition date. The final deadline is May 28, three days ahead of the Seoul round.

Continuing a Proven Audition Legacy

JYP has a strong track record of launching successful groups through audition programs, including Stray Kids (2017), LOUD (2021), and Nizi Project 2 (2023).

With "The Hit," the company aims to once again identify standout global talent and build a new boy group capable of making a significant impact in the K-pop industry.
