The ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 27 (KST), spotlighting the global influence of K-pop.
KPop Demon Hunters Extends Global Momentum
The Netflix animated project KPop Demon Hunters continued its global surge. Its virtual girl group HUNTRIX won 'Best Duo/Group of the Year.'
Their track Golden was named 'Best K-pop Song,' while the OST also secured 'Favorite Soundtrack,' highlighting strong fan-driven support.
BTS Members and ROSÉ Lead with Double Wins
Members of BTS earned multiple accolades through solo and collaborative works.
J-Hope won 'Favorite TikTok Dance' with his solo single Mona Lisa, a newly introduced category this year. He also claimed 'Favorite K-pop Collaboration' with Miguel for Sweet Dreams, completing a double win.
ROSÉ of BLACKPINK also achieved two awards. Her collaboration APT. with Bruno Mars won 'Best Collaboration,' and she was named 'K-pop Artist of the Year.'
Expanding K-pop Presence Across Categories
Jimin and Jungkook were recognized for their joint appearance in the Disney+ series Are You Sure?! Season 2, which won 'Favorite On-Screen.'
Stray Kids took 'K-pop Group of the Year,' while CORTIS earned 'Best New Artist (K-pop).'
Additionally, photographer Raul Bath, who worked on KATSEYE's tour visuals, was honored as 'Favorite Tour Photographer,' further underscoring K-pop's expanding global ecosystem.
