Park Boyoung takes on her first crime genre role, stepping into a darker transformation driven by desire.
The Disney+ original series Goldland unveiled its main trailer on March 30, signaling the start of a high-stakes game where no one can be trusted.
Goldland is a thriller centered on Heeju, played by Park Boyoung, who comes into possession of 150 billion KRW worth of gold bars from a smuggling organization and fights to claim them all for herself.
Park Boyoung plays Kim Heeju, a customs officer who dreams of an ordinary life. At the request of her boyfriend, co-pilot Lee Dogyeong (Lee Hyunwook), she allows a smuggling shipment to pass through security—only to become entangled in a massive illegal gold trafficking case.

After discovering the gold hidden inside the cargo, Heeju's suppressed desires begin to surface. Park Director, played by Lee Kwangsoo, starts chasing her, while loan shark employee Woogi (Kim Sungcheol) senses the gold's existence and approaches her. Their relationship shifts between alliance and betrayal.
As multiple characters become entangled over the gold, corrupt police officer Kim Jinman (Kim Heewon) also enters the picture. Heeju coldly declares, "If it belongs to no one anyway, why can't I have it?"
Goldland will premiere on April 28 with Episodes 1 and 2, releasing two episodes weekly for a total of 10 episodes.
