BTS have once again claimed the top spot on the Billboard charts, reaching No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "SWIM."
According to Billboard on March 31 (KST), BTS entered the Hot 100 at No.1 with the title track "SWIM" from their fifth full-length album ARIRANG.
This marks BTS's seventh No.1 on the Hot 100, following "Dynamite," "Savage Love," "Life Goes On," "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and "My Universe."
With this achievement, BTS now hold one of the highest numbers of No.1 songs among groups in history—following The Beatles (20), The Supremes (12), Bee Gees (9), and The Rolling Stones (8).
The Hot 100 ranks songs based on U.S. streaming, radio airplay, and digital/physical sales. During the tracking week (March 20–26), "SWIM" recorded 15.3 million streams, 25.8 million radio audience impressions, and 154,000 combined digital and physical sales.
The track also performed strongly across sub-charts. It debuted at No.2 on the Streaming Songs chart (a new career high), No.18 on the Radio Songs chart, and No.1 on the Digital Song Sales chart—marking BTS's 13th No.1 on that chart, the most among groups.
BTS shared, "After 3 years and 9 months, we're honored to achieve No.1 on Billboard again. We sincerely thank ARMY and everyone who supported us."
They added, "'SWIM' is a song about moving forward despite difficulties. We hope it brings even a small sense of courage and comfort to listeners."
With ARIRANG, BTS also topped the Billboard 200, marking their first simultaneous No.1 on both major Billboard charts since 2020—an achievement shared by only a few global artists, including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Drake.
BTS will kick off their world tour 'ARIRANG' from April 9–12 at Goyang Stadium.
