IVE has begun its Japan comeback rollout with a pre-release track, building momentum ahead of its new album.
Starship Entertainment announced on April 3 that IVE unveiled "Fashion," a track from its upcoming fourth Japanese album LUCID DREAM.
"Fashion" delivers a message about taking a step forward to meet a new version of oneself. The track combines IVE's signature positive energy with a diverse vocal arrangement, enhancing its overall completeness.
The song was also selected as the campaign track for Apple's App Store campaign, "Every step, with the App Store," and has been featured in Japanese TV commercials and advertisements since March 30.
IVE's return comes approximately 10 months after its third Japanese EP Be Alright, released in July last year, which topped the Oricon weekly charts.
The upcoming album LUCID DREAM will include four tracks: "Fashion," "REBEL HEART," "ATTITUDE," and the Japanese version of "Thank U."
Consistent Growth in Japan
Since debuting in Japan in 2022, IVE has steadily expanded its presence. "After LIKE" surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Billboard Japan's streaming chart.
The group has also made its mark on major stages, including the Rock in Japan Festival, and appeared on prominent programs such as NHK's Venue 101 and TBS's Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai.
Starship stated that the pre-release highlights IVE's distinctive concept and musical identity, further raising anticipation for the full album.
IVE will officially release LUCID DREAM on May 27 and continue its world tour with performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka on May 18–19.
