tvN's hit variety show Bogum Magical is officially returning with a second season.
tvN announced on April 6 that Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi, and Kwak Dong-yeon will reunite for Season 2, set to air in the second half of the year.
A Healing Salon Returns
Bogum Magical follows the trio as they run a small, heartfelt hair salon in a rural village in Muju, North Jeolla Province. Beyond styling hair, the show focuses on comforting stories and emotional connections with residents.
Park Bo Gum gained attention as a "rookie barber," having earned a barber's license during his military service. He connected with guests through both hairstyling and meaningful conversations.
Strong Chemistry, Warm Impact
Lee Sang-yi prepared for the show by obtaining a nail technician certification, becoming a friendly, son-like figure to villagers. Kwak Dong-yeon supported the salon with his practical skills, contributing to its smooth operation.
The three recently revisited the village, reconnecting with residents they had previously met and expressing their continued affection for the program.
Proven Popularity
Season 1 received strong praise for its warm storytelling and cast chemistry. It ranked No.1 in its time slot across all channels in the key 2049 demographic for seven consecutive weeks.
With Season 2 confirmed, expectations are high for another run filled with heartfelt moments and genuine connections.
