"Yumi still cries, laughs, and loves." (Director Lee Sang-yeob)
Four years have passed. Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) has changed. Yumi, who cried, laughed, and fumbled because of love, now returns as a successful writer. She has gained honor and status. But in front of love, she is still the same.
It is not only Yumi whose frozen love cells awaken again. This time, there is Soon-rok (played by Kim Jae-won). A name that fans of the original work have waited for the most. A principled and homebody man, who lives in low-power mode outside, is shaken when he meets Yumi.

'Yumi's Cells' still has many stories to tell.
TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' held a production presentation on April 7 at The Link Seoul Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Go-eun, Kim Jae-won, and director Lee Sang-yeob attended.
'Yumi's Cells 3' is a romance drama. It tells the story of Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun), who, due to an unexpected person that comes like a bolt from the blue into her unstimulating daily life, once again cries, laughs, and falls in love.

This season depicts the story of Yumi who succeeded as a writer. She gained honor and status, but still struggles because of love. The cheerful and lovely sensibility also continues as it is.
However, it does not follow the flow of the original webtoon as it is. Director Lee Sang-yeob said, "It was adapted to reflect the sensibility of the current generation," and emphasized, "It is a story that youths living in the present can relate to more."
Season 3 consists of 8 episodes. It is a more condensed development than the previous season. Director Lee explained, "As the viewing environment has changed, unnecessary parts were reduced and only interesting parts were included."

Kim Go-eun returns as 'Yumi.' She said, "While watching Seasons 1 and 2 again, I looked back on what kind of person Yumi was," and "This season is not very different either. Yumi is still Yumi."
It is already the third season. Kim Go-eun said, "The script volume was large, so it was not easy physically," but "The set was always full of laughter. I filmed enjoyably."

Yumi is a character who grows the most through love. In every season, she moved forward little by little despite worries, regrets, and fears. This season is also on that extension line, facing another change.
Kim Go-eun's real 모습 also resembled Yumi.
