Actor Sung Joon will make a special appearance in 21st Century Grand Prince's Wife.
The production team of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 21st Century Grand Prince's Wife (written by Yoo Ji-won, directed by Park Joon-hwa and Bae Hee-young) announced on April 8 that Sung Joon will play Lee Hwan, the older brother of Grand Prince Ian, portrayed by Byeon Woo-seok.
Lee Hwan is the older brother of Grand Prince Ian and the father of Yoon. He prefers to enjoy life and is not suited to be king, but ascends the throne according to the principle of primogeniture.
Sung Joon is expected to show acting synergy with the cast. He has demonstrated a wide character spectrum in various projects, including The Fiery Priest 2 and Can This Love Be Translated?.

Meanwhile, 21st Century Grand Prince's Wife tells the story of a contract marriage between a chaebol woman of commoner origin and a prince. It premieres on April 10.
