"Rookie singer" Kim Nam-gil will appear on You Quiz on the Block.

Kim Nam-gil will appear on the "Flowering" special episode of tvN's You Quiz on the Block (hereafter You Quiz), airing on April 8 at 8:45 PM. He will appear not as an actor, but as a singer.

He released his first single "I'm Going to You" on March 26. It is his first new song in about 16 years since "Can't I Love You" in 2010.

Behind the New Single

He will share various behind-the-scenes stories related to the single, including the reason for changing his stage name "Cool Tone," stories from the music video, and reactions from acquaintances who heard the new song.

A live performance of the new song is also prepared. Kim Nam-gil will perform "I'm Going to You" live for the first time on broadcast, showcasing his vocal ability as a rookie singer.

Fan Meeting Stories Also Revealed

He will also reveal stories from his fan meetings. Known for holding long sessions each time, he even sparked the phrase "fan kidnapping rumor." This year, he held a session lasting 5 hours and 12 minutes, yet rumors of an "early ending" still circulated.

Meanwhile, the "Flowering" special of You Quiz will also feature Professor Joo Eun-yeon, Han Roro, and lawyer Park Min-cheol alongside Kim Nam-gil.
