T.O.P Faces KBS Broadcast Ban on Multiple Tracks, Chooses Not to Appeal
by. ymchoi

T.O.P's latest release has encountered restrictions from KBS.

According to KBS's music review results announced on April 8, several songs from T.O.P's first full-length album Another Dimension were deemed unfit for broadcast.

Out of the 11 tracks on the album, seven—including Be Solid, Gokkalkoon, Living in Seoul, Another Dimension Holy Dude, Zero Coke, Completely Crazy, and Top Diss—received "unqualified" ratings.

Reasons Behind the Ban

KBS cited multiple violations, including the use of profanity and vulgar expressions, as well as lyrics that may encourage harmful behavior such as substance-related references. These issues fall under Article 46 of the broadcasting review regulations.

Tracks can be resubmitted for review after edits or deletions. However, T.O.P's side stated they will not pursue re-evaluation, adding that they "respect KBS's decision."

First Full Album in 13 Years

T.O.P released Another Dimension on April 3, marking his first solo full-length album in approximately 13 years.

Despite the broadcast restrictions, the album performed strongly on global charts, reaching No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Top Albums chart as of April 4.
