by. ymchoi

Singer Kim Jae-hwan is officially making his comeback following military discharge.

His agency WakeOne announced that he will release a new digital single "I'll Come Pick You Up" on April 22 at 6 PM (KST) via major music platforms.

This marks his first release in approximately 1 year and 11 months. He previously paused activities after his seventh mini album I Adore in May 2024 to fulfill mandatory military service.

The Return of a Standout Vocalist

Kim Jae-hwan signals a new musical chapter with this release. The track conveys messages of love and comfort toward youth, aiming to capture the emotions of spring with a brighter, more refined sound.

Industry insiders highlighted the return of his signature vocals, often referred to as a "national producer's top pick main vocalist," raising anticipation for his upgraded musical color.

Rising Expectations After Wanna One Reunion

As a former member of Wanna One, Kim Jae-hwan is also gaining attention following the group's recent decision to reunite, seven years after their official activities ended.

With both his solo comeback and group momentum aligning, expectations are building for a strong post-military return.
