Singer Hwasa is making her comeback with a new digital single.
Hwasa will release "So Cute" today (April 9) at 6 PM (KST), marking her first comeback in about six months since "Good Goodbye."
"So Cute" is a dance-pop track co-written by Hwasa and PSY, once again collaborating with composer Park Woo-sang.
Departing from her signature intense style, Hwasa presents a softer, more introspective side, aiming to deliver comfort through small, everyday moments.

Q&A with Hwasa
Q. How do you feel about making a comeback with "So Cute" after "Good Goodbye"?
I worked hard because I wanted to give back to the fans who showed me so much love. I hope many people enjoy this new song.
Q. Can you introduce "So Cute"? Why did you choose this title?
In our dry, everyday lives, I felt that small and seemingly trivial cuteness can give us strength. Even if it looks insignificant, it can melt a frozen heart. Happiness isn't something big—sometimes, "So cute, that's enough."
Q. This song feels different from your previous music. What was your intention?
I have many different sides, but I think I've mostly shown intense stories so far. I felt a bit tired of that, and these days, I wanted to share my quieter thoughts.
Q. You participated in writing and composing again. What did you focus on?
This song started from fear. As I grow older and learn more about life, I sometimes feel a childlike fear. I wanted to express moving forward toward a small, cute light within that confusion.
Q. You co-wrote the lyrics with PSY. How did that happen?
There were English lyrics in the song, and I thought a lot about them. When I discussed it with him, he helped organize everything clearly right on the spot.
Q. "Good Goodbye" was a mega hit. Did you feel pressure?
Not at all. I think it's a song that can't be recreated, so I'm just grateful. For this new chapter, I'm starting again from zero.
Q. What did you focus on in the music video?
I wanted to capture the strength we gain from small, cute things we encounter in our tiring daily lives.
Q. What do you hope to achieve with "So Cute"?
I don't have a specific goal. I just hope this small, simple song can bring strength to many people.
Q. How do you handle the pressure of songwriting?
It's harder when I don't have my own story. I just want to live my life fully and continue telling my own stories.
Q. Any message for fans?
Finally. At last!!!!! I've missed you so much.
Q. You'll perform at Rock in Rio this September. How do you feel?
Whether big or small, every stage is precious to me. As always, I'll perform with love for the stage and for my fans.
