BTS is launching a new world tour, marking their full-group return to the global stage.
BTS will open their "BTS World Tour – ARIRANG" on April 9 and April 11–12 at Goyang Stadium. The tour will then expand across Japan, North America, Europe, and South America, covering 34 cities with a total of 85 shows.
This tour is expected to set a new record for K-pop tours in terms of total audience. Most venues are stadiums or domes, and a 360-degree stage setup has been implemented.
Massive Demand, Record-Breaking Scale
Fan demand is already explosive. A total of 46 shows sold out early.
According to promoter Live Nation, BTS sold approximately 2.4 million tickets in North America and Europe alone.
The group will also achieve new milestones, becoming the first K-pop act to perform at venues such as Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Stanford Stadium, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
First Full-Group Tour in 4 Years
This marks BTS's first full-group tour in about four years. Their previous concerts concluded in April 2022 with "Permission to Dance On Stage" in Las Vegas.
"Dress Warm"—A Message to ARMY
Ahead of the concerts, members shared heartfelt messages to fans.
Jimin noted that rain is expected on the opening day and that the venue feels cold, urging fans to dress warmly.
He added that it's better to overdress than risk catching a cold, emphasizing that the group has prepared thoroughly.
J-Hope also shared that the final full rehearsal has been completed, saying both BTS and fans have long waited for this moment.
He echoed the same concern, reminding fans that evenings get especially cold and asking them to stay warm so they can fully enjoy the concert.
