i-dle is officially ramping up its activities in Japan, starting with a new anime soundtrack release.

On April 8, i-dle performed "HIDE AND SEEK," the opening theme for the TV Asahi anime There's No Friendly Gyaru for Otaku!?, which aired its first episode the same day.

"A Cute Yet Thrilling Track"

The members introduced the song themselves, explaining that it captures the confidence of staying true to oneself, along with a girl's hidden desire to have her true feelings understood.

They described the track as "cute yet thrilling," adding that it complements the anime's emotional dynamics and enhances the viewing experience.

Building Momentum in Japan

The anime is a romantic comedy about two gyaru girls and an otaku boy who grow closer through shared interests. It airs weekly on Wednesdays at 11:45 PM.

i-dle has already built strong momentum in Japan. The group successfully held its first arena tour in 2025 and released its first Japan EP i-dle, gaining significant local attention.

Notably, their track "Invincible" was previously selected as the opening theme for the anime Beyblade X, showcasing the group's powerful energy.

Yokohama Concert Ahead

i-dle will continue its Japan activities with performances on June 20–21 at K-Arena Yokohama as part of their fourth world tour, "2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR Syncopation IN YOKOHAMA."
