CORTIS is returning with a fully self-produced album, showcasing their identity as a "young creator crew."
BigHit Music revealed the tracklist image for CORTIS' second mini album GREENGREEN on April 13 via official SNS channels.
The album features six tracks in total, including the title song Red Red, along with TNT, Acai, Young Creator Crew, Wassup, and Blue Lips.
All members participated in the album credits. Following a song camp in Los Angeles, they co-created most of the tracks, reinforcing their hands-on approach to music production.
Notably, tracks such as Red Red, Acai, Young Creator Crew, and Wassup were developed with full-member involvement. The group also took charge of choreography and video production.
The title track Red Red metaphorically expresses the boundaries the group seeks to challenge, marking the starting point of their journey toward defining their own artistic direction. It features an addictive melody layered over rough synth textures and repetitive rhythms, combined with distinctive, collaboratively written lyrics.
The B-sides further highlight the group's experiences and tastes. TNT captures their explosive energy, while Acai draws inspiration from the acai bowls they frequently enjoyed. Young Creator Crew reflects their candid thoughts on the label itself.
Wassup explores the changes in their daily lives and emotions since debut, and Blue Lips, originating from member Martin's self-composed work, delves into themes of dreams and emotional scars.
GREENGREEN is set for release on May 4, having already surpassed 2.02 million pre-orders.
