Netflix has officially greenlit the new series Love Affair, unveiling a star-studded cast including Lee Dong-wook, Jeon So-nee, Jung Yu-mi, and Lee Jong-won.

The series follows the aftermath of a one-night encounter between two individuals in a foreign place, triggering a chain reaction that disrupts the lives of four people.

Complex Emotions and Intertwined Relationships

Lee Dong-wook plays Ji-hoon, a man torn between rational judgment and emotional impulses, set to portray a deeply layered character.

Jeon So-nee takes on the role of Hoo-kyung, a mysterious figure who digs into every aspect of Ji-hoon's life, becoming the central axis of the unfolding relationships.

Jung Yu-mi portrays Sun-hee, Ji-hoon's wife, who confronts the shocking truth about her husband's relationship. Her grounded performance is expected to anchor the narrative.

Lee Jong-won plays Dae-hee, Sun-hee's younger brother, who becomes entangled in an unexpected connection with Hoo-kyung, adding tension to the story.

Acclaimed Creators Join the Project

The series will be directed by Mo Wan-il, known for The World of the Married and The Frog (In the Forest Where No One Exists), with a script by Ha Su-jin, writer of The Matchmakers.
