BTS
"We really waited."
If waiting had weight, the front of Tokyo Dome on this day was quite heavy. It was the day to meet the full group again after four years. In the short phrase "we waited," the past four years were contained.
The temperature was 18°C. Tokyo in April was cool, but the heat on site was different. Long before the concert, Tokyo Dome was filled with ARMY. There was barely any room to move.
Fans appeared at the venue in special outfits. Purple, the symbol of ARMY, mixed with red, symbolizing the album "Arirang." In particular, handmade outfits stood out.
From an ARMY who decorated a denim jacket with the album symbol to a 65-year-old ARMY wearing saekdong as an obi. They embroidered by hand and drew BTS on their nails.
The boundaries between generations disappeared. Friends, families, grandmothers and granddaughters were together. From five-year-olds to people in their 70s, in front of BTS, everyone was the same ARMY.
As they had waited four years, one might think expectations would be high. However, the answers that came back were unexpected. Everyone said, "Just being able to see the seven members on one stage is enough."
Dispatch met ARMYs at Tokyo Dome on the 17th.
