BTS Expands "THE CITY ARIRANG" Globally…Las Vegas and Busan Next
by. ymchoi

BTS is continuing its large-scale project, expanding "THE CITY ARIRANG" beyond Seoul to cities worldwide.

BigHit Music announced on April 20 that "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG" will be held in May in Las Vegas and in June in Busan.

"THE CITY ARIRANG" is a city-wide project that integrates BTS's narrative into urban spaces, presenting immersive installations that combine music and media.

From Seoul to Global Cities

The project first launched in Seoul to celebrate the release of BTS's fifth full album "ARIRANG." Major landmarks such as Sungnyemun Gate, N Seoul Tower, and Yeouido Hangang Park were transformed into exhibition spaces.

Las Vegas will be the next stop. Around the dates of the "ARIRANG in Las Vegas" world tour concerts (May 23–24 and 27–28), the city will host a festival-like experience.

Partnerships with local brands have been established. A themed hotel experience will be offered at IP Hotel, while select clubs will host after-parties to extend the concert atmosphere.

City landmarks will be illuminated in red, the key color of BTS's new album. Large digital billboards will display welcome messages for visitors.

Busan Joins the Celebration

The excitement will continue in Busan on June 12–13, aligned with the tour schedule. Various programs will be organized, designed to be enjoyed like a theme park.

Meanwhile, BTS is currently on its world tour, with 85 shows across 34 cities confirmed—marking the largest number of performances ever for a single K-pop tour.
