TAEYANG of BIGBANG is set to return with a new full-length album this May, marking his first studio release in nearly a decade.

THEBLACKLABEL announced that TAEYANG will release his 4th full album 'QUINTESSENCE' on May 18 at 6 PM (KST) across major music platforms. The upcoming project signals a major milestone, as it will be his first full album in approximately nine years.

The album title 'QUINTESSENCE' refers to the purest essence or core, hinting at a deeply refined musical direction. The cover artwork features two angels forming the letter "Q," visually reinforcing the concept and building anticipation for the release.

A representative stated that TAEYANG aims to showcase his full capabilities as an all-round solo artist through a new musical world.
