ITZY is continuing its momentum with a new release. The group will return with a fresh album next month.
ITZY announced their comeback on May 18 through JYP Entertainment's official social media channels. The agency unveiled the trailer, tracklist, and scheduler for the group's 12th mini album 'Motto.'
This marks ITZY's first release in approximately six months. The group last promoted with its 11th mini album 'TUNNEL VISION,' released in November last year.
The trailer offers a glimpse into the album's concept. The members appear in surreal situations, eventually gathering together by climbing ladders to complete the word 'Motto.'
Renowned director Lea Esmaili led the trailer production. Her distinctive style and experimental visuals heightened anticipation for the new release.
The album consists of eight tracks, including the title track 'Motto,' along with 'Glitch,' 'You And I,' and five individual solo songs showcasing each member's unique color.
Several of the solo tracks were previously performed during the group's world tour. These include Yeji's 'Pocket,' Lia's 'Asylum,' Ryujin's 'Look,' Chaeryeong's 'Undefined,' and Yuna's 'Tangerine.'
ITZY will officially release 'Motto' on May 19. A countdown live broadcast is scheduled for 5 PM on the same day.
