CORTIS has captured global listeners with its new track, landing across major charts worldwide.
CORTIS pre-released the title track 'REDRED' from its second mini album on April 20. The song immediately soared to No.1 on YouTube's 'Trending Worldwide' chart (as of April 21).
'Trending Worldwide' ranks content based on combined metrics including music video views, performance clips, and growth velocity. Artists such as IVE and ITZY have previously topped the chart.
The 'REDRED' music video surpassed 3.2 million views within a day of being uploaded on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel. It also entered YouTube's trending music charts in 24 countries.
Strong traction is emerging in North America. The track ranked No.22 on the U.S. YouTube Trending Music chart (as of April 21), and No.13 in Canada on the same chart.
The song is also gaining popularity in other regions. 'REDRED' charted on iTunes 'Top Songs' in 14 countries and regions, hitting No.1 for two consecutive days in Indonesia and Thailand.
'REDRED' expresses the group's identity by contrasting what they pursue as 'green' and what they caution against as 'red.' All members participated in the songwriting as part of their 'Young Creator Crew.'
Meanwhile, CORTIS will begin music show promotions on April 23, starting with M Countdown, followed by appearances on Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo.
